  Job Description
1st Line IT Support Analyst, Technical Support Engineer with Windows or Linux and any Cisco / VMware skills or knowledge required for 1st Line Cloud Infrastructure Support role.

Our client, a market-leading Managed Services and Cloud Hosting company based in Farnborough, Hampshire seeks a talented and ambitious 1st Line Support Analyst to provide first-class support to its external client base.

Salary range £22K-25k plus bonus plus benefits including pension, private medical. You will be part of a shift pattern currently working an extended day but with the possibility of going 24/7 so must be prepared to works shifts.

Skills required:

*Appropriate IT degree (or equivalent previous experience within an IT environment) - essential.

*Previous understanding/experience within virtualised IT environments (preferably VMware, vSphere, ESX) - highly desirable.

*Previous experience in an IT Support role with Windows and Linux operating systems and server knowledge with any Cisco / CCNA a real bonus

*Ideally gained in an External customer facing environment - desirable.

*Understanding of ITIL processes at a high level - desirable.

*Excellent communication skills, including articulate in verbal communications and accuracy in written communications - essential.

*Reliable. Conscientious and methodical approach to tasks, able to prioritise and escalate within a busy working environment - essential.

*Able to obtain and retain SC security clearance level - essential.

*Required to participate in out-of-hours on-call activities (for which an additional allowance is payable) - essential.
