  Job Description
We are currently recruiting for an Infrastructure Engineer, based in Southampton on a potentially long term contract.

Operation and support of Active Directory services in time-zone;
Carry out day-to-day activities and checks as part of the on-going maintenance of Active Directory in a timely manner
Work alongside other Service Delivery teams to deliver quality Active Directory services reliably, efficiently and effectively
Ensure service integration processes that rely heavily upon Active Directory are running optimally
Prioritise work load effectively and operate within defined SLAs and OLAs;
Log technical support call details clearly and concisely to assist rapid investigation and resolution;
Proactively identifies Active Directory service improvements;
Support for the groups KPI infrastructure;
Support for DNS Services;
Develop improvements to processes including those automated through PowerShell scripts, subject to relevant approval;
Ensure own actions comply with standards, policies and any regulation; this includes adhering to the change management process which is used to protect production IT services;
Provide regular reports to the Platforms Services Manager;

Essential

2008 R2 Active Directory/DNS - Excellent AD skills having worked in a
multi-domain/trust model
Windows Server 2008 R2
PKI - Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Certificate Services and certificate lifecycle management
Excellent communication skills
Tickets - Clear and concise logging of technical support calls
