  Job Description
As an IT Support Engineer you will be responsible for managing incoming support requests and incidents and deliver internal IT support to a high standard. Your objective is to provide infrastructure support to internal staff and systems and continuing the ongoing development of the infrastructure as a whole.

Deliver high quality support to local and remote staff
Ensure internal support cases are effectively managed and prioritised
Deploy laptops and mobile phones to new staff
Manage the repair of equipment with 3rd party suppliers
Systems support of the IT infrastructure, LAN and WAN
Server maintenance, application of fixes, patch management and routine upgrades
Develop relationships with the company's suppliers, partners and internal stakeholders

Investigate and resolve IT issues with end-users
Apply patches and document the fix process
Network maintenance and monitoring
Document IT vulnerabilities, issues and suggest resolutions
Design and assist in implementing IT process and best practices
Design and assist in implementing system configuration
Provide documentation and application designs to the infrastructure team
Continue to develop internal systems
Conduct training with junior members of the team members and staff
Hardware and software life cycle management
Build and assign new equipment
Deploy updates, patches and hot fixes
Routine IT maintenance, Laptops, servers
Ad-hoc support, reacting to incoming support cases and calls
Responding to support issues in line with support SLA's
Support internal and remote staff in a timely and proactive manner
Deliver continuous improve and develop systems
Conduct all engagements in a professional and courteous manner
Achieve set and planned targets
Demonstrate a working knowledge of the relevant business processes
Always look for creative opportunities to help the business achieve its goals
A minimum of 3 years experience delivering IT support in a similar role
Proven knowledge of Microsoft Desktop systems, Windows OS, 7, 8 and 8.1
Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft 2010 and 2013
Proven record of System Administration in Windows Server OS, 2008 R2, 2012 R2
Good knowledge of SQL Server
Knowledge of SharePoint 2010, 2013 administration
Hands on experience working with high call volumes
