  Job Description
Global Network Manager required by fantastic Global Investment Bank based in the City of London. The Global Network Manager will have the responsibility of ensuring that the day to day support of the Communications environment (Network, VOIP and Security) is carried out. Responding to incidents and requests, received via the service desk and project teams, delivered within the agreed time lines is also a key part of the role, along with ensuring the stability of the Communications infrastructure.

The Network Manager will need to come from a technical background and have a good understanding of Network, VOIP and Security, supplemented with good commercial Managerial. A very good understanding of Cisco technologies is necessary.

Responsibilities:
1) To deliver a quality Communication service through directing, leading, motivating, coaching and supporting support teams.
2) To ensure Service Delivery by managing the execution and understanding of Service Level Agreements within the Communication teams.
3) To ensure that Change and Problem management is performed efficiently and effectively.
4) To ensure that work requests are analysed and implemented efficiently and in accordance with group standards.
5) To work with the Program Management team to ensure that Communications infrastructure projects are delivered successfully and on time.
6) To plan and manage project and task resource allocation.
7) To assist in the delivery of an efficient incident management process.
8) To assist in developing a service mind-set within operational space.
9) To provide a valid and up to date Business Continuity process for the Communications infrastructure.
10) To provide leadership and direction to team members, supporting the alignment of individual goals and career objectives with corporate direction, including staff development, training, education, performance reviews.
11) Implement and conform to ITIL standards and guidelines and industry best practice(s)
12) To maintain a professional work environment

Technical:
Network, VOIP and Security systems experience. Cisco Technologies.
