  Job Description
A fantastic opportunity has opened for an Application Support Analyst that has a good understanding of Exceptions and Investigations messaging for financial installations and SWIFT.

The Application Support Analyst will be part of a payment application support team ensuring payment solutions are successfully implemented and supported in production and test configurations.

The successful Application Support Analyst will have some requirement gathering experience as well as good experience implementing and supporting payments systems. In addition, they will also have exposure to electronic payments and host to host payments systems.

This outstanding position will require an Application Support Analyst with experience working in financial institutions with SWIFT messaging particularly in the area of Exceptions and Investigations. A good understanding of databases and business logic rules is also needed.

Skills and experience required for the role are as follows:

Good experience with Exceptions and Investigations (EandI) messaging for financial installations.
Knowledge of International Payment messaging standards (SEPA, CHAPS, TARGET2).
Knowledge of SWIFT messaging within the MT1xx, 2xx, and 9xx series and experience of working on Payment Systems or other wholesale banking back office systems a distinct advantage
Knowledge of Oracle database and SQL queries.
Knowledge of logic rules / business rules implementation within applications.
