  Job Description
Excellent Experience and Knowledge for a Technical Support Analyst:

? General skills (communication, questioning, problem solving)
? TCP/IP fundamentals
? Microsoft Windows-based networks and servers, including Active Directory
? Client computers running various Microsoft operating systems
? Experience of centralised administration, securing user environments with lock down
? Experience of operating system installations, creating client builds, adding driver support for new hardware
? Ability to accurately test and diagnose problems in a systematic and logical manner prior to delivering projects to implementation
? Ability to design robust and supportable solutions with low administration and helpdesk overhead

As a Technical Support Analyst it would also be advantageous if you had the following:

Education qualifications required: GCSE Maths and English at grade C or higher - Essential
Education qualifications Desired: A-Level Maths and English at grade C or higher - Deirable
Professional Qualifications Desired: Active and recent Microsoft technical qualifications - Desirable

The team's responsibilities comprise of designing and testing new technical solutions for clients and development of implementation and support processes for those solutions for the Implementation, Technical Operations and Helpdesk teams.
The successful candidate will require a high level of technical skills with many years' experience, of both client and server based computers, as well as experience of networking, Active Directory domains and of server and networking hardware.
You will have excellent incident and problem analysis, diagnosis and resolution skills. You will feel confident acting as an escalation point for the helpdesk analyst team.
It also means writing documentation, providing some coaching to your colleagues so that they can continue to learn from your experience and knowledge. Just as important is that you will be open to doing things in a new way and you will understand that adapting to change is just as important as getting it right every time.
