  Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities:

Performs senior level technology and infrastructure tasks
Researches, monitors, maintains and supports UC technology including the integration of real-time, enterprise, communication services such as instant messaging (chat), presence information, voice (including IP telephony), mobility features (including extension mobility and single number reach), audio, web and video conferencing, fixed-mobile convergence, desktop sharing, data sharing, call control and speech recognition with non-real-time communication services such as unified messaging (integrated voicemail, e-mail, SMS and fax).
Leads the evaluation of current UC infrastructure and initiates and substantiates recommendations to improve UC functionality, security, capability, operations efficiency and performance on a senior level.
Manages all aspects of major projects and leads strategic development of the UC infrastructure. Provides technical expertise relating to UC systems to project teams.
Provides technical expertise relating to UC systems to project teams.
Leads and works on multiple complex projects and tasks independently and on project teams.
Monitors system functions to include data analysis and testing of UC systems.
Produces quality documentation and makes recommendations for improvements to documentation standards.
Ensures that UC systems are running optimal operating system software and is responsible for all upgrades, bug fixes and change requests to maintain system stability and integrity.
Participates in the after-hours on call rotation for network support
Provides general functional and technical support
Assists customers with IT related compliance items as needed
Develops alternatives, implements solutions, understanding the ramifications for identified problems, risks or opportunities within own team or other teams and customer base; develops potential recommendations
Evaluates and communicates customer expectations based on pre-defined agreements or service level agreements.
Provides direction to co-workers for best practice triage and resolution alternatives; identifies and acts on escalation requirements.
Independently develops customer requirement documents and medium sized work plans.
May provide leadership to ad-hoc groups or small teams
Assists with the creation and maintenance of small project or team budgets under close supervision

Requirements:

6 years of relevant UC experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Cisco certifications to include CCNP? or ?CCNA? or CCIE with video certs, etc.
