  Job Description
Requirements:

• 5+ years hands on experience in storage firmware testing.
• Good understanding of SATA/PCIE storage protocols.
• Good knowledge of different firmware modules including host side and backend.
• 5+ years of SW/FW development experience
• Proficiency with one or more scripting languages like Python, tcl, PERL, C++, JAVA
• Familiarity with Operating Systems such as Windows 7 / 8, Linux, and Mac OS
• Ability to change out peripheral devices such as Video Cards, RAID Cards, swap CPU, etc.
• Know how to change BIOS settings, SATA Configuration (IDE/AHCI/RAID) and flash a new BIOS
• Hands on experience with logic analyzers, bus analyzers and digital scopes, LeCroy SATA Analyzer, or SerialTek Bus Analyzer, Oakgate, ULink, ATADemo
• Fast learner with good communication skills.
• Must be a team player

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement test cases for FW module level and drive level validation/debug
• Port existing test cases; includes refactoring
• Design/develop white-box test cases
• Define firmware requirements for the white-box test development
• Validate and release test cases
• Provide first–level firmware test triage support. Analyze test failures to identify repeating failures of similar signature and categorize accordingly.
• Analyze problems, diagnose root cause, and apply corrective actions
• Perform system level and drive level debugging using software programs, oscilloscopes, bus analyzers, and other diagnostic tools
• Generate a report of test results and issues observed
• Develop new Tests Cases based on new customer features or bugs found
